Meet the QW Team

Donabel Santos

I’m a SQL Server Developer and DBA. I have extensive experience in SQL Server development (design, scripts, stored procedures, functions, tuning, troubleshooting, SQLCLR, SQLXML, integration with ERPs, CRMs and PowerShell) and reporting (SSRS). I also have experience with database administration (installing, configuring, tuning, maintenance, transaction log shipping, replication, database mirroring, partitioning etc) and business intelligence (SSRS, SSIS, ETL, SSAS, OLAP, Cubes, MDX).

Besides SQL Server, I also have done a lot of projects involving SharePoint (installing, configuring, creating custom pages, branding, web parts, features, workflows) and general web development (HTML/CSS/jQuery/C#/ASP.NET/XML).

My passion is SQL Server, and I’m a proud member of PASS (Professional Association of SQL Server). I blog (sqlmusings.com), tweet (@sqlbelle), speak (VANPASS, SQLSaturday, etc), train (BCIT, QueryWorks Solutions) and write (Idera, SSWUG, etc).

Eric Chuah

I am a SQL Server and MySQL developer and administrator. I have extensive experience in large scale (in PetaBytes!) MySQL database development and administration, primarily in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) setting. On the SQL Server side, I focus on the Business Intelligence area, primarily designing, developing and maintaining/supporting SQL Server Reports (SSRS).

In addition to databases, I also work on web development ((X)HTML/CSS/AJAX/Perl/Python/XML/Java), scripting and setting up large scale pipeline involving LINUX clusters, workflows, and web service API’s to handle Next-Generation DNA Sequencing data.
